There are many different types of kennels, and boarding facilities for your animals to stay. Some pet boarding kennels will board both dogs and cats, while some specialize in just one type of animal. Some pet boarding kennels are very basic, housing the animals in cages or runs. Others resemble a spa for animals, with large, furnished cat “condos” and spacious facilities where dogs can run and play instead of being confined. Some pet boarding kennels even have web cams that allow pet owners to keep an eye on their animals as long as they have an Internet connection. There are also different types of boarding arrangements available for horses offered at many boarding stables. There is Full board, which include all the necessities for your horse, plus a stall with full turn-out. With full board you won’t have to visit your horse every day. Then there’s part-board, where you will not own the horse, but will be paying a portion of the board in exchange for its use. This is an option if you can’t afford to buy and keep your own horse. There is also pasture board, which can be very economical. Your horse will live outdoors all year round with feed, water and a run-in shelter. Lastly, there’s self-care board, you will be provided with the facilities, but you will have to do the rest. You would need to check with the stable or farm to see if they can make any other arrangements.
